Our company was established in 2004 as a small enterprise dealing with lighting, sound and stage props. Over time we became experts in freighting and storage, which then became our main activity. We proudly provide our collection and transportation services to both small and medium-sized enterprises as well as residential customers. Thanks to our continuously expanding vehicle fleet we are able to take freight both large and small as well as providing storage both nationally and internationally.
Our fleet of trucks can carry from 2-34 pallets. Canvas or box trucks, tail lift trucks, tractor units with a capacity ranging from 1-24 tons. Tractor units are classified for EURO 6 environmental standards. The range of our large fleet of vehicles enables us to transport both pallets and individual items, parcels etc. We are also able to provide special carriage services such as crane loading or transportation of dangerous goods. Our vision – as our slogan says: We give our utmost attention to the smallest detail – providing complete safety, speed and door to door delivery even in the case of a lightweight part cargo over a hundred mile distance.
International export and import orders to Sweden, Norway, Denmark and The Netherlands are scheduled twice a week. We transport to Belgium and Finland once a week. In the transit countries (Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the Baltics) we handle the collection and carriage of goods of our partners as well as handling additional Austrian, Slovenian and Croatian orders.
From taking the initial order, transportation and delivery, right through to the final billing you can be confident that our expert staff will efficiently expedite your instructions. Our multilingual organisers/drivers all have experience in the destination countries thereby completing their work skills. Our drivers have international driving licences, ADR (Carriage Dangerous Goods) declaration passes and over ten years experience.Our warehouse receives and forwards all the goods to the designated destination in two shifts. The back office duties are provided by complex corporate governance software. The safety of the goods and our staff is guaranteed by an on-board communication terminal and a GPS based fleet tracking system. The total number of employees of Eky-Light Ltd. is 35 as of August 2017.
In 2015 our transportation capacity was expanded due to an increase in orders following major investments in our vehicle fleet. In 2016 our company invested in an industrial estate in South Dunakeszi, with the financial help provided by MNB, the national bank of Hungary. This facilitated roofed and indoor packing and storing of the delivered goods. Automated material handling is supported by an innovative computer system.
Expanded storage capacity provides warehouse leasing and commission opportunities.
